Description of Duties
|
Senior
Accountant
The
selected candidate will be allocated responsibility of a portfolio
of corporate and private clients and will be responsible for setting
up of accounting procedures, implementation of internal control
functions, the preparation of financial and management reports, tax
and VAT filings and for MFSA compliance.
The
position involves working as part of a team of accountants and with our lawyers,
auditors, banks and regulatory
authorities, serving a diverse local and international clientele.
This

proficiency in accounting & accounting packages;

highly organised character and ability to work on own initiative and
without supervision;
ability
to perform in a demanding, client-oriented environment.

Other skills
|
ACCA or B.Accty.(Hons.) degree
A
CPA or CPAA warrant will be an asset but not strictly required.
|
|
Experience
|
Previous experience in an accounting, auditing or financial services
environment is an asset.
